Independent Contract About Advanced Medical Provider, Inc. Advanced Medical Providers (AMP) is a trusted partner in delivering high-quality disability evaluations for U.S. Veterans. Our mission is to provide accurate, timely, and compassionate care while supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs in serving those who have served our country. Position Overview We are seeking a Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team as an Independent Contractor. In this role, you will conduct disability exams for Veterans, providing comprehensive and professional assessments in accordance with Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) requirements. This is a non-treatment role — no medical treatment or ongoing care is provided. AMP operates as a third-party provider , performing evaluations to verify service-related illnesses and/or injuries for U.S. Veterans. This independent contractor opportunity offers flexibility in scheduling — including weekends — with full malpractice coverage and all VBA-required training provided by AMP. Key Responsibilities Conduct compensation and pension disability exams for Veterans in accordance with VA/VBA protocols and requirements. Perform a physical and clinical assessment exam including range of motion tests Provide objective evaluations only; no treatment or ongoing care is performed . Document findings accurately and thoroughly within designated reporting systems. Maintain professional standards of patient care, ensuring dignity and respect for all Veterans. Collaborate with AMP administrative staff to ensure exams are scheduled and completed on time. Stay current with VBA training and guidelines (training modules coordinated by AMP). Must have experience conducting C&P exams Must have availability 3 days per week minimum 3-5 years of clinical experience required. Strong documentation and clinical skills. Prior experience working with Veterans or the Veterans Administration is highly preferred Ability to work independently and manage flexible scheduling
