Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Detox/MAT

Job Description

Status/Schedule:
Full-time; 12-hour shifts with participation in a rotating on-call schedule. Make an Impact Where It Matters Most New Day Recovery (NDR) is a premier detox and substance abuse residential facility located in Niles, Ohio. We're dedicated to transforming lives through comprehensive and compassionate addiction treatment services. Our mission is to provide personalized care that addresses the unique needs of each individual, empowering them to achieve long-term recovery and a brighter future. What You'll Do Conduct patient assessments, evaluations, and ongoing treatment planning Provide care for individuals with mental health and substance use disorders, including Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) Collaborate with counselors, medical staff, and leadership to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation Build meaningful connections with patients while supporting long-term recovery Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-driven environment What Makes You a Great Fit Passion for helping individuals in recovery and behavioral health settings Strong clinical judgment and ability to work both independently and collaboratively Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to navigate sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion
Qualifications:
Current and active Ohio Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license - Family or Adult CPR certification required Completion of required continuing medical education (CME) Experience in behavioral health, addiction medicine, or MAT preferred Why Join New Day Recovery?
