2988843157-2 Apply for this job now Job Description New Directions Mental Health seeks a Behavioral Health Advanced Practice Provider to deliver outpatient psychiatric care for children, adolescents, and adults. In this role, you will complete psychiatric evaluations, develop personalized treatment and medication plans, and provide ongoing medication management and psychoeducation. You will collaborate closely with therapists and a supportive, team-oriented clinical staff, all grounded in empathy and client-centered care. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while growing professionally within a collaborative, mission-driven mental health practice. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults Develop and manage individualized treatment and medication plans Provide ongoing medication management and psychoeducation Collaborate closely with therapists and multidisciplinary team members Monitor treatment outcomes and adjust care plans as needed Document all encounters accurately in the EHR system Participate in case consultations and clinical meetings Support a culture of empathy, safety, and collaboration for clients and staff Required Skills Psychiatric assessment and diagnosis Medication management and psychopharmacology Treatment planning Suicide risk and safety assessment Knowledge of DSM-5 criteria Electronic Health Records (EHR) documentation Interdisciplinary collaboration Crisis intervention Patient and family education Outcome measurement and quality improvement
