Job Description

Our client is seeking a dedicated Neonatology Nurse Practitioner for a focused 6-day assignment in Wisconsin, beginning Nov 2, 2026. This vital role operates on 24-hour shifts, 7a-7a, within a NICU. Responsibilities include attending high-risk deliveries, expertly stabilizing premature and critically ill newborns, and providing comprehensive ongoing NICU management. Responsibilities and Duties Perform 24-hour shifts within a NICU setting. Attend high-risk deliveries and provide stabilization for premature and critically ill newborns. Manage ongoing care for infants in the NICU. Handle cases involving high-risk deliveries, critically ill infants, intubation, umbilical line insertion, lumbar puncture, chest tube insertion, catheter placement, and percutaneous arterial line insertion. Document five case logs each for lumbar punctures, insertion of PICC lines, and arterial line insertions. Additional Information Board Certification in Neonatology is required. The Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system utilized is Epic.
