Job Description
Responsibilities & DutiesConduct comprehensive patient histories, physical examinations, and clinical assessments.
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions, including hypertension, diabetes, heart disease, and disorders affecting the lungs, brain, kidneys, and gastrointestinal system.
Evaluate and treat common illnesses and infections, including influenza and pneumonia.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Prescribe and administer medications and appropriate therapies within scope of practice.
Order, review, and interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic studies.
Explain diagnoses, treatment options, procedures, and test results to patients and their families.
Provide preventive care, health education, and counseling.
Coordinate referrals to specialists and other healthcare services when appropriate.
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical records.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated, patient-centered care.
Stay current with clinical guidelines, evidence-based practices, and applicable healthcare regulations.
QualificationsCurrent Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
Appropriate national board certification.
At least 2 years of clinical experience preferred, particularly in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Primary Care.
Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and decision-making skills.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to establish strong relationships with patients and families.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare environment.
Proficiency with electronic medical records and standard clinical technology.
ScheduleFull-time position.
Option to work 4 or 5 days per week.
Regular patient-facing clinical responsibilities.
Compensation$100,000 - $130,000 per year, depending on experience and the number of days worked per week.
