Overview Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and become a vital part of providing compassionate, high-quality patient care across diverse medical settings. As a CNA, you will support registered nurses and physicians by delivering essential daily care to patients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and dignity. Responsibilities Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment such as Hoyer lifts and manual handling techniques. Monitor and record vital signs accurately, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates. Support patient transfer methods safely, adhering to proper protocols to prevent injury. Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations while documenting care activities in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems like Epic or Cerner. Provide specialized care for patients with complex needs such as dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or those requiring memory care or hospice services. Support infection control practices through aseptic techniques and proper sanitation procedures. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in various settings including long-term care facilities, hospitals (ICU, trauma centers), outpatient clinics, and home care environments. Qualifications Valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) from an accredited program. Experience working with diverse patient populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, individuals with disabilities, or those in critical or acute care settings such as ICU or Level I Trauma Centers. Proficiency in medical terminology and familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks. Knowledge of vital signs measurement, medication administration support, catheter care, and basic life support (CPR). Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and utilize patient transfer methods effectively. Strong communication skills for caregiving and team collaboration in fast-paced environments such as emergency medicine or urgent care.
