Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Active CNA license recognized in the state Previous experience in a school, pediatric, or similar healthcare setting preferred Familiarity with basic medical terminology and maintaining patient confidentiality Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with students, staff, and families Dependable, adaptable, and skilled at working independently or as part of a team Current CPR certification is an asset

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct care and assistance to students with health needs during the school day Administer first aid, support with personal hygiene, and assist in medication management as per protocols Accurately document student care and report on health-related incidents Collaborate closely with school nurses, administrators, and teachers to create a safe environment Participate in implementation of individualized care plans for students with special medical requirements Respond promptly to any health emergencies or concerns on campus
