Live-In CNA / Caregiver — Monday through Friday (Sleep-In) Highland Beach, FL

• Room and board included A private household in Highland Beach is seeking an experienced CNA for a Monday-through-Friday sleep-in position. This is one-on-one care in a private oceanfront residence — not a facility, and not a sit-by-the-bed job. You'll be caring for the client and running the day-to-day of her home. The current caregiver has been with the household for eleven years and is retiring at the end of November. She'll be available to train you and hand things off, so you won't be walking in cold. The household keeps a later schedule. The day begins around 10:00-11:00 a.m. and dinner is served around 9:00 p.m. If you're a night person, this schedule will suit you well. Responsibilities Personal care One-on-one assistance and daily care for the client Cooking — three simple meals a day

Breakfast:

oatmeal, cereal, or something similarly easy

Lunch:

scrambled eggs or another light, simple plate

Dinner:

soup, a protein (fish, chicken, or hamburger), and two steamed vegetables The client eats a plain, consistent diet. No elaborate cooking and no menu planning — the household keeps a recipe book you'll work from. Household Daily tidying of the bedroom and bathroom Other rooms as needed, roughly weekly Laundry and linens Keeping the household organized — knowing where things are kept, keeping closets and supplies in order Tracking supplies and restocking before things run out Errands and shopping, done accurately the first time Pet care (no pets currently; one may be added in the future) Support Basic phone and computer tasks — copies, printing, simple online errands Small practical household tasks: reaching, moving, plugging things in, handling the minor problems that come up in a home Driving is preferred; the household has a dedicated driver, so this is for convenience rather than daily transport Requirements Active Florida CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) certification Current

CPR / BLS

certification Minimum 3 years of hands-on, one-on-one caregiving experience Fluent spoken and written English Valid driver's license and clean driving record Comfortable, capable cook Basic phone and computer skills Able to commit to the full Monday-Friday sleep-in schedule consistently Background check and verifiable references Legally authorized to work in the United States Compensation and benefits $225 per day to start Regular reviews: Pay is reviewed every three to six months, with increases based on performance. There is real room to grow — pay can reach up to $300 per day in this role. Room and board included. You'll have your own accommodations in the residence on the nights you work, and meals are provided. No commuting cost on workdays — no gas, no wear on your car, no I-95 at rush hour. Because housing, meals, and utilities are covered on your working days, the real value of this position is considerably higher than the day rate suggests. Starting pay works out to $1,125 per week , with your living costs covered while you're on. For a caregiver who wants to save, this is one of the more financially efficient arrangements in private-duty work. What we're looking for The right person for this role is sharp, observant, and self-directed. The client should not have to point out what needs doing. If you're the kind of caregiver who notices the eye drops are almost out and picks up more, who knows where everything in the house is kept, who gets an errand right the first time, and who can solve a small problem without waiting on someone else — this is the job for you. This is also a genuinely long-term position. Household staff here have stayed ten, eleven, and thirteen years. The client is not looking to rotate through caregivers; she wants to find the right person and keep her. The pace is reasonable. There's no expectation that you're moving every minute — when nothing is needed, sit down and have your lunch. Reliability, resourcefulness, and being pleasant to have in the home matter most.
