Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide essential patient care and support to individuals in home care environments. Your energy and enthusiasm will help improve the quality of life for our patients while ensuring they receive respectful, attentive, and personalized care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse patient populations, including seniors, children, and individuals with developmental disabilities or memory care needs. Duties Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility using tools like Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Cerner or eClinicalWorks Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper documentation in medical records while adhering to HIPAA regulations Provide specialized care for patients with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, implementing memory care techniques and behavioral health strategies Assist in clinical procedures such as catheter care, phlebotomy, and aseptic techniques in various settings including ICU, emergency medicine, or surgical units Maintain a safe environment by following infection control protocols and practicing proper hygiene standards in aseptic technique practices Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in acute care, post-acute settings, or outpatient clinics to deliver comprehensive patient service and support recovery goals Skills Proven experience working with people with disabilities, developmental delays, or behavioral health needs Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support procedures Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner for accurate medical documentation Strong understanding of infection control practices including aseptic technique and infectious disease care protocols Ability to perform patient assessments by monitoring vital signs and recognizing abnormal conditions promptly Experience in geriatrics, hospice care, or long-term care environments such as nursing homes or assisted living communities Skilled in patient mobility assistance using Hoyer lifts and other transfer equipment safely and effectively Join us to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives!
