Duties:

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse
• Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
• Monitor vital signs and report any changes or abnormalities to the nursing staff
• Assist with sterile processing and maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients
• Assist with procedures such as gastric lavage and airway management
• Provide care to patients with special needs, including those with physical or developmental disabilities
• Document patient information accurately and timely using electronic medical record systems such as PCC (pointclickcare)
• Assist with the use and maintenance of durable medical equipment (DME)
• Provide support to patients in behavioral health settings

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a nursing assistant training program and certification as a nursing assistant
• Experience working with children is preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
• Knowledge of medical terminology and basic medical procedures
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems such as eClinicalWorks and Cerner is a plus
• Georgia CNA certificate is required
• Paper application process is required.
