Job Description

Job Summary Join our compassionate team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Caregiver, where your dedication will make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients. In this vital role, you will provide personalized care and support that enhances the well-being and independence of those you serve.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver compassionate assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Monitor and observe clients' conditions, accurately recording vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature. Assist with safe transfers and mobility, utilizing techniques and equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary. Provide companionship and emotional support, especially for clients with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, to enhance mental and emotional well-being. Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment through light housekeeping and household support. Adhere to home care regulations and safety procedures, including emergency response protocols such as first aid and CPR. Offer respite for family caregivers, ensuring continuity of compassionate care. Log appointments and service performance using a mobile phone application.
Requirements:
Valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or equivalent caregiving credential. Prior experience in caregiving, homemaker,chore services preferred. Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia is a plus. Ability to perform light to heavy lifting safely; familiarity with transfer equipment is advantageous. Strong communication skills for interacting with clients, families, and healthcare professionals. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality. CPR/First Aid certification and 2-Step TB clearance. High school diploma or equivalent (GED). Reliable transportation and a Hawaii Driver's License or other valid identification. Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 10.0 - 30.0 per week
