This position will begin at 3-4 days per week, with strong potential to expand into a larger role as the clinic continues to grow. The ideal candidate is grounded in traditional medicine, confident in clinical decision-making, and also curious, open-minded, and excited to learn more about integrative approaches to care. Duties The NP/PA will be responsible for providing comprehensive primary care services, including acute, chronic, and preventive care. This role includes completing thorough patient evaluations, developing individualized care plans, ordering and interpreting labs and diagnostic testing, educating patients on treatment plans and lifestyle strategies, and documenting visits accurately and efficiently in the EHR. The provider will also collaborate closely with our clinical staff to ensure an excellent patient experience and participate in ongoing learning related to integrative and root-cause care models. Qualifications Applicants must be licensed as a NP/PA in the state of Iowa, or have the ability to obtain Iowa licensure. We are looking for someone with 2-3 years of experience in a traditional medical setting such as primary care, internal medicine, family medicine, or a similar clinical environment. Strong clinical assessment skills, sound decision-making, excellent communication, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively are important for this role. Interest in integrative, functional, or root-cause medicine is preferred. Prior experience is not required, but a willingness to learn is essential. Preferred Experience Experience with hormone management, weight loss, wellness-based care, cash-based or hybrid practice models, patient-driven care planning, or longer visit formats is helpful but not required.
