Job Overview Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and become a vital part of providing compassionate, high-quality resident care in a very home-like assisted living setting. Our staff work as universal workers so part of your shift is spent in providing assistance in the dining room, with activities and with light housekeeping. Responsibilities Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and safe lifting practices Measure and record vital signs like blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates accurately in electronic health record (EHR) systems Support patient transfer methods ensuring safety and comfort during movement within the facility or to external appointments Maintain patient confidentiality by adhering to HIPAA regulations and ensuring secure medical documentation practices Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to relay important information about patient status or needs Qualifications Valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with active state licensure or registration Experience working with geriatric patients in long-term care facilities or nursing homes is highly preferred Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support (BLS/CPR) certifications required Prior experience in specialized areas such as assisted living, Alzheimer's care, memory care or hospice Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and assist with patient transfers using equipment like Hoyer lifts or manual handling techniques Strong communication skills with a compassionate caregiving approach suited for diverse patient populations including pediatrics and individuals with disabilities Join us in delivering exceptional patient-centered care! $13.00 - $15.00 per hour Expected hours: 16.0 - 40.0 per week
