Job Description
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care and assisting with daily activities. This is an excellent opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients and contribute to their overall well-being.Duties:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Provide assistance with mobility and transfers
- Administer medications under the supervision of a registered nurse
- Assist with medical procedures, such as gastric lavage and suture removal
- Perform basic patient assessments and report any changes in condition to the nursing staff
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families
- Maintain a clean and organized patient environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic physiology
- Familiarity with memory care and experience working with children is a plus
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Basic computer skills for medical office documentation
- Understanding of aseptic technique and sterile processing
