Job Description

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care and assisting with daily activities. This is an excellent opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients and contribute to their overall well-being.
Duties:
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
  • Provide assistance with mobility and transfers
  • Administer medications under the supervision of a registered nurse
  • Assist with medical procedures, such as gastric lavage and suture removal
  • Perform basic patient assessments and report any changes in condition to the nursing staff
  • Provide emotional support to patients and their families
  • Maintain a clean and organized patient environment
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and basic physiology
  • Familiarity with memory care and experience working with children is a plus
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Basic computer skills for medical office documentation
  • Understanding of aseptic technique and sterile processing
