Job Summary Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) working full shifts from either 7PM to 7AM or 7AM to 7PM. Responsibilities Deliver direct patient care by assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility support using safe lifting practices and equipment like Hoyer lifts. Monitor vital signs and observe patient conditions closely, reporting any changes promptly to nursing staff. Maintain accurate medical documentation Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality standards. Support complex medical procedures including catheter care Assist with patient transfers using appropriate transfer methods and equipment; ensure safe handling during movement or repositioning. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to promote understanding and deliver personalized care tailored to specific needs such as dementia, Alzheimer's, or developmental disabilities. Follow infection control protocols diligently in all aspects of patient care across acute, sub-acute, outpatient, and home care environments. Qualifications Current certification as a CNA with active state licensure. Experience working in long-term care facilities, or assisted living communities. Knowledge of medical terminology, vital signs measurement, and basic life support (BLS) Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and demonstrate manual handling techniques. Strong communication skills for caregiving roles involving patient service and team collaboration.
