Join the Skilled Nursing Facility team at Community Hospital of Stokes , where Certified Nursing Assistants play an important role in providing compassionate, hands-on care to residents. As a CNA, you'll work closely with nurses and other members of the care team to support daily living needs, promote comfort and dignity, and help maintain a safe and welcoming environment. PRN Schedule, Variable Shifts What We're Looking For:
Education:
High School Diploma or GED, required.
Experience:
One year preferred. One year Assisted Living facilities only: experience working in long-term care or assisted living, required.
Licensure/Certification:
Completion of NAI program, required. Listed with the nurse aide registry as an NA I, required. Medication Safety - AME, required. NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required. Additional Skills (preferred): Basic computer skills for documentation.
What You'll Do:
Assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal care, mobility, and other routine needs Provide compassionate care while maintaining resident comfort, privacy, and dignity Observe residents and promptly report changes in condition or status to the nursing team Document care and assistance provided according to established procedures Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment for residents Work under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse or Charge Nurse Collaborate with the care team to support each resident's individualized plan of care
