Weekly Pay (Every Friday) Duties Provide direct patient care by assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts. Monitor and record vital signs accurately, including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature, ensuring proper documentation within electronic health record (EHR) systems. Support patients with medication reminders and basic health assessments under the supervision of nursing staff. Assist with medical procedures requiring aseptic technique and infection control protocols, including catheter care and wound management when trained. Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers to ensure comfort and address individual needs effectively. Maintain a safe environment by adhering to HIPAA regulations, safety standards, and infection prevention protocols across various care settings such as ICU, emergency rooms, or long-term care facilities. Utilize specialized equipment like Hoyer lifts or other mobility aids to promote patient safety during transfers or repositioning. Engage in patient education efforts related to health maintenance and recovery processes in geriatrics, pediatrics, or behavioral health contexts. Requirements Valid CNA certification from an accredited program with current licensure in the applicable state or region. Proven experience working in clinical environments such as hospitals (including Level I Trauma Centers), nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home & community care settings. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, eClinicalWorks, or similar platforms for accurate medical documentation. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support (BLS) procedures essential for quality patient service delivery. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges; Alzheimer's and dementia care experience is highly valued. Ability to perform phlebotomy procedures and assist with acute or sub-acute care needs when applicable. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams in fast-paced environments like urgent care or pediatric units. Demonstrated understanding of HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards related to medical records and patient information.
