• All Shifts Competitive Wage | Pay Based on Experience JAG Healthcare Union City is currently seeking compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our nursing team!

We currently have a full-time opportunity available on 2nd shift , as well as PRN opportunities on all shifts . JAG Healthcare Union City is a 43-bed skilled nursing facility providing care for residents with cognitive deficits, memory care needs, and geriatric behavioral health needs. Our smaller, close-knit environment gives our CNAs the opportunity to truly get to know the residents they care for and provide individualized, person-centered support. As a CNA at JAG Healthcare Union City, you aren't just completing a checklist of tasks. You are often the team member spending the most one-on-one time with our residents. The relationships you build, changes you notice, and care you provide are an important part of each resident's comfort, safety, and quality of life. Who This Position Is Great For? This position is ideal for a CNA who wants to work in a smaller facility where they can build meaningful relationships with residents and be part of a supportive nursing team. Our resident population can have unique cognitive, memory, and behavioral health needs, so we're looking for CNAs who bring patience, compassion, adaptability, and a positive approach to resident care. Responsibilities:

Include but are not limited to: Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene Assist residents with mobility, transfers, positioning, and ambulation Answer call lights and respond to resident needs promptly and compassionately Assist with meals, feeding, hydration, and other nutritional needs Obtain and document vital signs, weights, intake/output, and other required information Observe residents for physical, emotional, cognitive, or behavioral changes and report concerns to the licensed nurse Provide care and support to residents with cognitive deficits, memory care needs, and behavioral health needs Maintain resident dignity, privacy, comfort, safety, and independence Follow individualized resident care plans Assist with maintaining clean, comfortable, and safe resident living spaces Follow infection prevention and safety procedures Communicate effectively with nurses and other members of the interdisciplinary care team Positively interact with residents, families, visitors, and coworkers

Skills & Qualifications:

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification/credential in the State of Ohio as required for the position Long-term care, skilled nursing, memory care, or behavioral health experience preferred, but not required Compassionate and resident-focused approach to care Patience and adaptability when working with residents with cognitive or behavioral health needs Dependable with a strong work ethic Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to follow resident care plans and nursing instructions Ability to recognize and report changes in resident condition Professionalism and respect for resident dignity, privacy, and individual preferences Why Join JAG Healthcare Union City?
