About this Position As a member of the health care team, the RMA/LPN is primarily responsible for ensuring high quality and continuity in the provision of comprehensive primary medical care services. The RMA/LPN is utilized in performing typical front and back office clinical functions. The RMA/LPN is under the overall on-site supervision of the Nursing Supervisor.

Hiring Range:

Medical Assistant - $17.00 to $19.13 Licensed Practical Nurse - $21.00 to $23.63 Required Qualifications Vocational/Technical Registered or Certified Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date) Previous front and back-office experience in a health clinic setting or equivalent experience required. Licenses:

Current Certified Medical Assistant/Registered Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse Licensure required. Current CPR certification Valid Driver's License Skills, Proficiencies, and/or

Knowledge:

Knowledge of all areas related to clinic workflow. Excellent customer service skills and good communication skills. Ability to multi-task while providing good patient care. Good computer skills and ability to learn new computer systems as needed. Primary skills include verbal and written communication with patients to promote continuity of care and follow-up as well as daily retrieval and scanning/filing of clinical encounter forms and reports for use by clinic staff during patient care activities.
