Responsibilities Deliver direct patient care by assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility support. Monitor vital signs and conduct comprehensive patient assessments to inform ongoing care plans. Administer medications and injections accurately following established protocols and physician orders. Support specialized care needs including Alzheimer's, dementia, memory care, hospice, and palliative care. Manage medical documentation within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA and clinical confidentiality policies. Assist with diagnostic evaluations such as specimen collection, processing, and basic medical imaging procedures. Implement infection control procedures and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety across all care activities. Experience Prior experience working with geriatric patients or in senior care settings such as skilled nursing facilities or assisted living communities. Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems like Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth for accurate documentation. Experience in acute care environments including hospital medicine, ICU, emergency room, or trauma centers is highly valued. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), and CPT coding enhances your ability to deliver precise patient assessments and documentation. Proven ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges; experience with Alzheimer's or dementia care is preferred. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), CPR, and first aid is required; additional certifications such as IV infusion training or phlebotomy are advantageous. Familiarity with infection control standards and long-term care regulations ensures compliance and quality of service. Pay:

$14.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 10.0 - 60.0 per week
