Key Qualifications:

Active CNA license required Experience supporting children or working in school settings a plus Flexibility and willingness to take on both 1:1 student support and classroom assistant responsibilities Must be open to scheduling and completing a paraprofessional (parapro) exam or Teaching Assistant certification exam Strong communication and teamwork skills Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment

Role Responsibilities:

Provide direct care and assistance to students with health needs during the school day Support students in classroom activities, either 1:1 or as a general classroom assistant Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and other team members to fulfill Individualized Education Program (IEP) accommodations and daily routines Assist with classroom organization, transitions, and student engagement Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all school and regulatory guidelines This position offers exposure to both elementary and middle school classrooms, presenting opportunities to broaden your skill set and gain valuable educational experience.
