Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA)Part Time3pm-11pm Seafields by Bishop Gadsden is a newly built Senior Living Community and is about to open their Assisted Living Community! This area is designed with both residents and care team members in mind. We are seeking compassionate, service-oriented Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) who want to make a difference in a supportive environment with a low resident-to-caregiver ratio that allows you to truly know your residents and provide the level of care they deserve.
A Typical Day:
Uphold Resident Rights and HIPAA standards Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) while encouraging independence Provide personal care services in alignment with each resident's plan of care Assist residents with dining, including escorting to the dining room and in-room dining Observe, document, and promptly report changes in resident condition Participate in walking rounds and exchange shift reports with supervisors Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) Practice standard infection control and safety precautions at all times Communicate and collaborate with nursing, supervisors, and the interdisciplinary care team Provide laundry and ironing services for residents as needed Maintain a pleasant, respectful, and courteous demeanor with residents, families, and team members Respond promptly to pagers and review the communication book each shift Participate in assigned "lunch duty"
Requirements:
What We Need In A Candidate:
Must be at least 18 years of age and in good physical health High school diploma or equivalent Active Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification in South Carolina Must be listed in good standing on the South Carolina Nurse Aide Registry Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English Clear verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills and a service-oriented mindset Ability to work well as part of a collaborative care team
