OVERVIEW SCHEDULE

Hours and Days will vary At Brightstar Care Knoxville, the HHA is a member of the home care team who performs various personal and homemaker tasks that follows along with a plan of care set by the nurse. The HHA will be responsible for helping maintain safety and provide continuity of care for each patient. Caregiver will have to load and unload wheelchair from car.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

Creating a positive experience for the patient, provide caring, and professional work environment. Personal Hygiene Light House Keeping Medication Reminders Meal Preparation Observe & report any patient changes to the nurse Safe Transfers Able to have excellent written skills; provide proper documentation in patient records.

Skills/Qualifications:

Home Health Aide/CNA/Caregiver Certified in CPR Licensed driver with automobile that is insured Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision; able to follow each patient as their needs change. Empathy for the needs of the patient Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills. Ability to express spoken and/or written ideas in English. Treats patients, staff and the public with courtesy, respect and presents a positive public image. Works as a team member. Ensures confidentiality and security of the client's medical information.
