Category Schools - CNA Nurse Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic educational environment where your clinical skills make a real difference in students' daily lives. As a crucial support in the school setting, you will help create a safe, caring atmosphere for children and adolescents by delivering essential healthcare services during the school day.
Qualifications & Experience:
Active CNA, LPN, or LVN license in good standing Experience providing care in school, pediatric, or similar settings preferred Strong understanding of pediatric health needs, including medication administration and monitoring Excellent communication skills with students, parents, and faculty Ability to manage multiple priorities in a bustling school environment Compassion, patience, and adaptability when caring for children and teens
Key Responsibilities:
Administer daily medications and treatments as prescribed Monitor and respond promptly to students' healthcare needs, emergencies, or chronic conditions Maintain detailed, confidential health records in compliance with school and legal requirements Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support student well-being and safety Educate students and staff on basic health topics and hygiene habits Support infection control protocols and maintain a clean, organized health office Provide first aid and manage minor injuries or sudden illnesses effectively This contract role places you at the heart of a supportive school community where your expertise directly enhances the quality of the students' academic and personal experience.
