This position is ideal for someone who has hands-on experience assisting clients with mobility challenges and is confident using transfer equipment such as gait belts and Hoyer lifts. We are looking for a caregiver who is patient, professional, kind, and committed to helping clients maintain their dignity and quality of life while remaining safely in their own home. Working hours are Monday thru Friday from 6am to 1:30pm Responsibilities Assist with safe transfers using a gait belt and/or Hoyer lift. Provide assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene. Assist with toileting and incontinence care, including changing briefs/diapers. Assist with feeding and encourage adequate nutrition and hydration. Provide medication reminders. Assist the client with prescribed physical therapy exercises and mobility activities, following the physical therapist's care plan, to help improve strength, mobility, balance, and overall independence. (Caregivers will not perform therapy but will safely reinforce exercises that have been prescribed by the client's healthcare provider or physical therapist.) Prepare nutritious meals and snacks. Perform light housekeeping, including laundry and maintaining a clean living environment. Provide companionship and emotional support. Accompany and transport the client to medical appointments and other approved outings. Observe and report changes in the client's condition to the office. Accurately complete daily caregiver documentation and care notes. Qualifications Current Washington State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Care Aide (HCA) certification required. Experience caring for individuals with Parkinson's disease or other neurological conditions preferred. Experience using gait belts, Hoyer lifts, and other safe transfer techniques is required. Strong English speaking, reading, and writing skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently. Compassionate, patient, professional, and respectful. Physically able to assist with transfers and personal care. Authorized to work in the United States. Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance. Must successfully pass a criminal background check. What We Offer Competitive pay (based on experience).
