Ambulatory We are seeking a compassionate, patient-focused Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Ambulatory Care team. The CNA provides direct patient care and clinical support in an outpatient setting, working closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. This role is essential in ensuring a positive patient experience while supporting efficient clinic operations and high-quality care delivery. In this position the Certified Nursing Assistant will: Prepare patients for appointments by obtaining and documenting vital signs, height, weight, and other pertinent information. Escort patients to examination rooms and assist with patient flow throughout the clinic. Support providers and nursing staff during examinations, procedures, and treatments. Perform point-of-care testing and specimen collection as permitted by training and organizational policy. Maintain accurate patient records within the electronic medical record (EMR) system. Assist with patient education and reinforce instructions provided by licensed healthcare professionals. Clean, stock, and prepare exam rooms and clinical areas. Monitor and report changes in patient condition, concerns, or unusual observations to nursing staff. Follow infection prevention, patient safety, and confidentiality standards. Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and visitors. Participate in quality improvement and team initiatives as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Current CNA Certification with the Wisconsin registry. Demonstrates ability to do simple math functions. CPR certification within three (3) months of hire. Previous CNA experience in ambulatory care, physician practice, clinic, or outpatient setting preferred.
