Job Summary Join our compassionate team as a Caregiver/Nursing Assistant and make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and individuals with disabilities. In this vital role, you will provide personalized care, support residents with daily activities, and promote their independence and well-being. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to ensure comfort and dignity. Monitor vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration to track health status. Support residents with memory care needs, including Alzheimer's and dementia care, by implementing personalized routines and behavioral management strategies. Practice safe patient lifting techniques and manual handling procedures to prevent injury for both residents and staff. Engage in client communication to understand their needs, preferences, and concerns, fostering trust and rapport. Skills Proven experience in assisted living or nursing home environments with a focus on geriatrics or long-term care. Knowledge of Alzheimer's disease, dementia care, memory care strategies, and behavioral management techniques. Ability to perform vital signs measurement accurately and efficiently. Strong understanding of resident's rights and confidentiality standards within healthcare settings. Skilled in first aid, CPR certification, and safe patient lifting practices. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments in residential or community care settings.
