This leadership position is ideal for someone who is passionate about mentoring staff, ensuring quality care, and creating a safe, supportive, and person-centered home environment. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a residential group home while ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of the individuals we serve. House Managers lead and support their direct care teams, maintain compliance with agency and regulatory standards, coordinate appointments and services, ensure homes remain clean, safe, and well-maintained, and foster an environment where both residents and staff can thrive. As a Residential House Manager, you will provide leadership and oversight for the daily operations of a licensed residential group home.
Responsibilities include:
Lead, supervise, coach, and develop a team of Direct Support Professionals to provide exceptional care and support. Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of the individuals living in the home while promoting dignity, independence, and person-centered services. Monitor documentation for accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with agency policies, Medicaid, APD, and licensing requirements. Collaborate with Behavior Analysts, Nursing, Residential Coordinators, guardians, and other interdisciplinary team members to ensure each individual's needs are met. Oversee the implementation of behavior support plans, medical recommendations, and person-centered goals. Coordinate medical appointments, transportation, medications, and follow-up care as needed. Maintain a clean, safe, organized, and fully stocked home environment while ensuring maintenance concerns are addressed promptly. Monitor staffing, provide ongoing training and coaching, and foster a positive, accountable team culture. Support individuals in participating in meaningful community activities and developing skills that promote independence and quality of life. Respond professionally and effectively to emergencies and other situations requiring leadership or decision-making.
