Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Staff Supervision and Management:
Hire, train, and oversee caregivers and staff members. Assign tasks, conduct performance evaluations, and implement disciplinary actions when necessary. Foster a positive and supportive work environment to enhance staff morale and productivity.
Client Care and Care Plan Oversight:
Collaborate with clients and their families to develop personalized care plans. Ensure the effective implementation of care plans, catering to the unique needs of each client. Regularly assess and update care plans in coordination with the care team.
Compliance and Operations:
Oversee the agency's daily operations to maintain efficiency and quality of services. Run regular audits to monitor the agency's performance and identify areas for improvement. Ensure strict compliance with regulations and guidelines set forth by the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) and other relevant governing bodies.
Client Advocacy and Support:
Act as a liaison between clients, their families, and the agency, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Advocate for clients' rights, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care and support.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of management experience in the health field, preferably in a similar in-home care setting. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team of caregivers and staff members. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and staff members. Knowledge of OHA regulations and willingness to stay updated on industry standards and best practices.
