Job Description

LPN/OFFICE MANAGER
We're looking for an LPN with injection/infusion experience and administrative experience to join our team as a Branch Manager. Full time, $25-$35/hour based on experience, plus PTO and bonuses. Schedule is Monday - Friday in the office, with injections as needed, sometimes on weekends.
Position Responsibilities Summary:
The Branch Manager oversees operations in order to deliver consistent, safe, compassionate, and high-quality care to every client. Must demonstrate the skills, abilities, and competencies to run a home care office: hire, teach, and develop a high-performance branch supervisory and field team; effectively execute performance management, scheduling, payroll, billing and medical coding programs, policies, and procedures. Partner closely with the branch Director of Nursing, Sales Manager, Scheduler, and other key staff to maximize patient-centered care, branch revenues, and profitability. The Branch Manager is responsible for overall branch operations and is accountable for all personnel, both office and field staff. The Branch Manager oversees orientation and training of new caregivers, proper documentation for scheduling and billing purposes, and provides direct patient care under the supervision of the Director of Nursing during the week and on weekends. Responsibilities include following the plan of care, providing treatments, and working collaboratively with the members of the team to help meet positive client care outcomes. Branch Manager must have a positive attitude and a strong willingness to learn and work as a member of a growing and evolving team
Requirements:
Licensed Practical Nurse - current TN/Compact licensure CPR Certification Valid driver's license & auto insurance Reliable transportation
Preferences:
High School Diploma; Associates and/or Bachelor Degree in Business Management or Administration; or a combination of education/experience; and minimum of 2 years' experience managing an office or department; Experience with MSOffice (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint); Experience working in and/or managing a high-volume healthcare office branch or agency, with a strong customer relations and quality of work culture; Experience managing people and effectively scheduling staff at all levels

Implements and executes consistent "inquiry to client" conversion practices to drive revenues and client base. Ensure high-quality customer care is provided at every stage of the client touch-points and experience from phone to in-home consultation to maximize customer retention.
Recruitment:
Indirectly supervises active, ongoing recruiting strategies to attract the best field staff and branch office staff. Conducts thorough and engaging employee orientations to properly on-board new hires. Executes all required training programs and provides on-going opportunities for employee development, cross-training, and career growth and advancement. Consistently documents performance, coaches on the job, provides timely and appropriate feedback, and disciplines as needed to improve employee performance, productivity, and client care. Fosters strong and positive employee relations to prevent frivolous unemployment claims and employer liability. Payroll, scheduling, billing, and coding management: Supports and uses all technology tools and resources to ensure proper business processes (ABS, BrightConnect, MSOffice, Grist). Ensure timely and accurate billing, coding, and hourly time records and reporting. Effectively manages hiring and termination procedures. Ensures staff are properly trained and available as needed. Ensure care and coverage 24/7 to meet the needs of our clients and protect BrightStar brand standards. Participates in weekly on-call rotation Accreditation and compliance: Enforces and maintains all Joint Commission accreditation standards of excellence. Complies with all federal, state, and local regulations and employment laws and practices. Effectively manages workers' compensation programs; safety and injury prevention; return to work procedures. Ensure education and compliance of all HIPAA regulations and requirements. Ensure file maintenance and security standards are consistently practiced and enforced to protect employee and client records.
LPN Role:
Provides direct patient care & performs all skills, treatments, and procedures competently in accordance with and as defined by the state Nurse Practice Act using sound judgment and critical thinking. Implements plan of care and treatment initiated by the registered nurse. Provides accurate, detailed, and timely documentation consistent with the plan of care and the nursing process. Observes client condition and accurately reports to the registered nurse. Prepares, administers, and appropriately documents actions taken specific to commonly prescribed oral, topical, subcutaneous, and intramuscular medications. Observes, reports, and records adverse reactions to medications and/or treatment to the registered nurse. Recognizes the need for and institutes emergency measures in a rapid and appropriate manner, when indicated. Follows principles of infection control and Universal Precautions. Identifies and participates in performance improvement activities. Uses equipment properly and in a safe manner. Ensures client's rights are adhered to. These include but are not limited to: the right to privacy and dignity while care is being provided; the right to accept or refuse care; and the right to confidentiality of their information.
