Job Description

Are you a registered nurse who enjoys mentoring new healthcare professionals? Moon River Nursing Careers in Ashburn, VA, is hiring weekend clinical instructors. Candidates need to work four weekend days per month (choose all Saturdays, all Sundays or a combination with some of each. The clinicals are held in Ashburn or Leesburg and are scheduled from 6:45 a.m.-3:15 p.m. Moon River Nursing Careers has high standards and we are committed to each student's success. Instructors play a key role in teaching important skills, professionalism and preparing students to take the CNA exam. We are proud to have extraordinary instructors who share their knowledge and passion for nursing. Being an instructor for the Nurse Aide course offers a chance to share your skills and to serve as a role model for students who are excited about advancing their healthcare careers.

Requirements:

RN with at least two years experience Excellent clinical skills Leadership experience Good communication skills Positive, friendly personality Compassionate Prior experience as an instructor teaching adults is desirable, but not required. This is a great second job, part-time position, or a wonderful opportunity for retired nurses who want to remain active in healthcare. Interviews will be held until all positions are filled.
