Job Description

Adventist Health is seeking an RN Manager to lead a nursing team in delivering compassionate, whole-person care. In this on-site role, you'll oversee daily clinical operations, staffing, and patient flow while ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. You will mentor and support RNs and care team members, collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary partners, and champion evidence-based practices. Responsibilities Lead and supervise RN and care teams on assigned unit Coordinate and oversee daily clinical operations and workflows Ensure delivery of safe, high-quality, whole-person nursing care Support staff scheduling, mentoring, and performance feedback Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams on care plans Monitor quality, safety, and regulatory compliance metrics Educate staff on clinical best practices and policies Engage patients and families with compassionate communication Support faith-based, mission-driven initiatives and outreach Contribute to process improvement and staff development programs Required Skills Clinical nursing practice (acute care or relevant specialty) Staff supervision and team leadership Care coordination and patient flow management Electronic Health Records (EHR) proficiency Quality and patient safety practices Regulatory and accreditation compliance knowledge Performance evaluation and coaching Patient and family communication Scheduling and staffing management Data interpretation for clinical and operational metrics
