In this role, you will oversee daily clinical operations, coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards. You will mentor and develop nursing staff, participate in performance evaluations, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities Supervise and support nursing staff to ensure safe, high-quality patient care across assigned unit(s). Oversee daily clinical operations, including staffing, workflows, and resource allocation. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate and optimize patient care plans. Monitor compliance with clinical protocols, regulatory standards, and infection control policies. Provide direct patient care as needed, serving as a clinical resource and role model for RNs. Coach, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff performance; identify training and development needs. Lead and participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance outcomes and patient experience. Assist with scheduling, onboarding, and competency validation for nursing team members. Communicate effectively with patients and families, ensuring education and service excellence. Use electronic health records and clinical systems to document and track patient care activities.
