Home Health About Classic Home Health Services Classic Home Health Services is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) / Clinical Manager to lead clinical operations at our Leesburg office. This is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing clinical staff, ensuring regulatory and accreditation compliance, supporting quality patient care, and maintaining strong clinical outcomes in a Medicare-certified home health environment. We are looking for a strong RN leader with proven home health management experience who can provide clinical guidance, support field clinicians, oversee documentation and patient care delivery, and ensure compliance with applicable state and federal requirements. This position is ideal for an experienced Home Health Clinical Manager, Director of Nursing, or RN Supervisor who is ready to lead and develop a growing clinical team. Key Responsibilities Provide leadership, supervision, and clinical support to RNs, LPNs, therapists, and other clinical staff. Oversee day-to-day clinical operations and patient care services. Ensure compliance with Medicare Conditions of Participation , Florida regulations, and applicable accreditation standards. Review and approve OASIS assessments, plans of care, orders, and clinical documentation . Monitor documentation for accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and regulatory compliance. Conduct case conferences and interdisciplinary team meetings. Monitor patient outcomes, quality measures, and clinical performance. Lead performance improvement initiatives and quality assurance activities. Provide mentorship, coaching, education, and performance management for clinical staff. Assist with recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, and training of clinical personnel. Collaborate with physicians, patients, clinicians, and leadership to ensure coordinated and effective patient care. Identify clinical concerns and provide timely guidance and follow-up to field staff. Support a culture of accountability, teamwork, professionalism, and compassionate patient care. QualificationsRequired Current, unrestricted Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license . Minimum 3-5 years of home health experience . Minimum 1-2 years of clinical leadership or management experience , such as Clinical Manager, Director of Nursing, RN Supervisor, or similar role. Strong knowledge of Medicare Home Health regulations and Conditions of Participation . Strong understanding of OASIS, plans of care, clinical documentation, and home health operations . Current CPR/BLS certification . Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to effectively lead and support a multidisciplinary clinical team. Preferred Previous experience managing clinical operations for a Medicare-certified home health agency . Experience with WellSky/Kinnser or similar home health EMR systems. Experience with quality assurance, performance improvement, and regulatory/accreditation surveys. Experience developing and mentoring clinical staff.
