Ayers Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking an experienced and dependable RN Unit Manager to provide clinical leadership and oversee the daily nursing operations of an assigned unit. This is a hands-on leadership position for an RN who can balance excellent resident care with staff supervision, regulatory compliance, clinical documentation, and effective communication. What We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience Monday-Friday leadership schedule Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with employer contributions Paid time off Company-paid life insurance DailyPay—access your earned wages when you need them Supportive facility and regional leadership Opportunities for professional growth and advancement Key Responsibilities Provide clinical and operational oversight for an assigned nursing unit Supervise, support, and provide direction to RNs, LPNs, and CNAs Monitor resident conditions and ensure changes are identified, documented, and communicated promptly Participate in admissions, discharges, transfers, and resident care planning Ensure physician orders, treatments, medications, and documentation are completed accurately Review clinical records for completeness, accuracy, and regulatory compliance Collaborate with physicians, families, nursing leadership, and the interdisciplinary care team Assist with staff scheduling, assignments, attendance, and performance accountability Provide coaching, education, and ongoing support to nursing team members Monitor falls, wounds, infections, weight changes, hospitalizations, and other clinical risk areas Participate in quality improvement, survey readiness, and infection prevention initiatives Help maintain a professional, respectful, and resident-centered environment Respond appropriately to emergencies and significant changes in resident condition Qualifications Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the State of Florida Previous nursing leadership or supervisory experience preferred Skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care experience strongly preferred Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills Knowledge of federal and Florida long-term care regulations Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills Ability to lead with accountability, professionalism, and compassion Current CPR certification Ability to successfully complete all required background screenings The Leader We Are Looking For We are seeking an RN leader who is visible, engaged, and willing to work alongside the nursing team.
