Regional Wellness Nurse Director (LPN) Overseeing Assisted Living Communities in Acworth, Cumming & Gainesville, GA The Parkside Group is looking for an experienced and passionate Regional Wellness Nurse (LPN) to provide clinical leadership and overseeing 3 of our assisted living communities located in Acworth, Cumming, and Gainesville, Georgia. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who thrives in a leadership role, enjoys mentoring clinical teams, and is passionate about improving the quality of care for seniors. You'll work closely with each community's Executive Director and Wellness Director to ensure our residents receive exceptional care while maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence and regulatory compliance. About the Role The Regional Wellness Nurse Director serves as the clinical leader for multiple assisted living communities. This position provides guidance, education, and support to each community's nursing team while ensuring compliance with Georgia regulations, company policies, and best clinical practices. You will regularly travel between all three communities, helping strengthen clinical operations, improve resident outcomes, mentor staff, and ensure every resident receives compassionate, high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities :
Provide clinical oversight for three assisted living communities. Support, mentor, and coach Wellness Directors and nursing staff. Ensure compliance with Georgia Assisted Living regulations and company policies. Conduct routine clinical audits, medication cart audits, and documentation reviews. Review resident assessments, service plans, physician orders, and health records for accuracy and compliance. Assist with new resident assessments, move-ins, and changes in resident condition. Monitor medication management systems and ensure safe medication administration practices. Investigate incidents, falls, infections, medication variances, and resident concerns while implementing corrective action plans when needed. Develop and implement quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives. Assist communities in preparing for state surveys and participate during inspections. Educate and train nurses, medication aides, caregivers, and other clinical staff. Partner with Executive Directors to improve resident satisfaction, clinical outcomes, and overall community performance. Monitor staffing levels and provide clinical support when operational needs arise. Foster positive relationships with residents, families, physicians, pharmacies, hospice providers, and other healthcare partners. Promote a culture of compassion, accountability, teamwork, and exceptional resident care.
Qualifications Required:
Current Georgia LPN license in good standing. Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in Assisted Living, Personal Care, Memory Care, or Long-Term Care. Previous experience as a Wellness Director, Resident Care Director, Assistant Wellness Director, or similar assisted living leadership role strongly preferred. Thorough understanding of Georgia Assisted Living regulations. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities across several communities. Reliable transportation and the ability to travel regularly between Acworth, Cumming, and Gainesville. Why The Parkside Group? Pay:
