Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Nurse Manager to lead and oversee nursing operations within a diverse healthcare setting. In this pivotal role, you will coordinate patient care delivery, supervise nursing staff, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, and promote a culture of excellence and compassionate care. Your leadership will drive quality improvements, foster team collaboration, and uphold the highest standards of patient safety and satisfaction. Duties Oversee daily clinical operations to ensure efficient workflow, optimal patient care, and adherence to hospital policies and regulatory standards such as HIPAA and state healthcare laws. Supervise nursing staff by managing schedules, conducting performance evaluations, facilitating ongoing training, and supporting professional development initiatives. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient assessments, discharge planning, and case management efforts. Ensure accurate medical documentation using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems while maintaining compliance with
ICD-9/ICD-10
coding standards. Lead quality improvement projects focusing on infection control, medication administration safety, and patient satisfaction metrics. Monitor staffing levels to meet patient acuity needs while managing budgets and resource allocation effectively. Qualifications Valid nursing license with current registration; Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher required; Master's preferred. Proven nurse management experience with demonstrated leadership in supervising multidisciplinary teams. Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems. Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations including HIPAA, long-term care regulations, and safety protocols like basic life support (BLS) and sterile processing techniques. Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage team dynamics effectively and engage in managerial communication strategies. Ability to handle complex patient assessments involving physiology knowledge, medication administration, and procedures. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental delays is a plus; familiarity with dementia care or memory care preferred. Pay:
$50.92 - $64.50 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
