Overview We are seeking a dedicated and organized Adult Day Care Administrator / Compliance Manager to oversee the daily operations of our new Adult Day Care center in Harvey. This role is vital in ensuring that the facility provides a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for adults requiring daytime care and supervision. The administrator will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining high-quality care standards. This position offers flexibility as either part-time or full-time employment, with an in-person work setting. Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Adult Day Care center, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning. Manage staff scheduling, training, and performance to maintain a high standard of care and service delivery. Ensure compliance with all relevant state and federal regulations governing adult day care services. Develop and implement policies and procedures to promote safety, quality, and regulatory adherence. Coordinate activities and programs that promote engagement, socialization, and well-being for clients. Monitor client care plans and ensure personalized attention to meet individual needs. Maintain accurate documentation related to client records, staff schedules, incident reports, and regulatory compliance. Serve as the primary point of contact for families, healthcare providers, and regulatory agencies. Conduct regular audits to ensure safety protocols are followed and identify areas for improvement. Foster a positive environment that supports both clients and staff while upholding the center's mission. Qualifications Proven experience in managing adult care facilities or similar healthcare settings is preferred. Strong knowledge of compliance standards related to adult day care services. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively. Leadership qualities with experience supervising staff and coordinating team efforts. Good communication skills to interact professionally with clients, families, staff, and regulatory bodies. Ability to develop policies, manage budgets, and oversee operational procedures. Relevant certifications or licenses related to healthcare administration or adult care are advantageous but not mandatory.
