The Manager of Clinical Services is responsible for management of clinical care provided to the agency's patients and for oversight, supervision and mentoring of a multidisciplinary team of field clinicians and at times, other non-clinical workforce members. The Manager of Clinical Services is accountable for workforce member productivity, quality outcomes, patient satisfaction and clinical practice standards delivery. The Manager of Clinical Services collaborates with Quality Management to orient and educate clinical workforce members in the areas of clinical care and documentation. The Manager of Clinical Services develops and maintains a culture of team accountability using a high degree of field supervision. As a member of the Management team the incumbent is responsible for organizational performance improvement activities and education/orientation activities. Acts as Manager on Call on a rotating basis.

Responsibilities:

Patient Care Coordination:

Reviews and evaluates patients' plans of care through clinical documentation review. Assures patient needs are continually being reassessed and updated for an individualized plan of care. Responsible for compliance to frequency, duration, and treatment orders on the patient plan of care or per MD orders. Collaborates with Quality Management in quality initiatives, patient experience, and resolving patient/provider complaints +

Workforce Member Team Performance Support and Improvement:

Regularly meets with direct reports for one-to-one case management review, productivity benchmark review, personal goal setting, and individualized support to meet established job responsibilities. Collaborates with direct leader and human resources to coach and counsel workforce members regarding performance. Conducts annual workforce member performance evaluations +

Workforce Member Team Management:

Instructs and guides team members to promote effective performance and delivery of quality services. Utilizing agency data analytic systems, works towards established key performance indicators by maintaining established procedures, protocols, and communication. Stays aware of industry trends and best practice standards to promote optimum patient outcomes +

Hiring and Orientation:

Screens and interviews prospective new workforce members. Collaborates with Quality Management to orient new workforce members and ensures initial and annual competencies are completed +

Quality Improvement:

Actively participates in quality management programs established by the agency + Other Duties as assigned
