Job Summary:

Greenbriar Nursing Center is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, leadership capabilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. As the RN Supervisor, you will oversee the nursing staff during your shift, ensure the smooth operation of the nursing unit, and provide direct patient care as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and support nursing staff in the delivery of patient care, ensuring adherence to established protocols and best practices. Coordinate daily patient care activities, ensuring optimal care and efficient workflow. Conduct shift reports, delegate tasks, and monitor the performance of nursing personnel. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. Monitor patient outcomes and address any issues or concerns promptly. Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments. Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations and standards. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and reports. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and professional development. Respond to emergencies in a timely and effective manner.

Qualifications:

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Mississippi. Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role. Experience in long-term care or a similar healthcare setting is highly desirable. Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing best practices. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
