Job Description

Full-Time Operating Room RN Manager Western Carolina Surgery Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced OR RN to join the team as an OR Manager. OR RN Manager Western Carolina Surgery Center is a leading multispecialty surgery center dedicated to providing high-quality surgical care in a comfortable and patient-focused environment. Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated OR Manager to join our team. The OR Manager will play a key role in overseeing and managing the daily operations of our operating rooms, ensuring efficient workflow, high standards of patient care, and a positive working environment for our surgical team.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the operating rooms, including scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, policies, and procedures related to surgical services.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes and experiences.
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
  • Supervise and mentor OR staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
  • Participate in budgeting, inventory management, and equipment maintenance activities.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and continuous learning within the OR team.
Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Current RN License Current BLS and ACLS certification required; CNOR preferred Three years of recent experience required intra-operative setting. Demonstrates clinical competency, leadership, and teaching capabilities. Physically and emotionally capable of performing responsibilities of position.
