The Clinical Support Manager RN is a dynamic leadership role that combines operational oversight, staff development, quality improvement, and patient safety expertise to support physician clinic practices. This position serves as a clinical leader, educator, mentor, and quality champion, collaborating with providers, clinic leaders, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient-centered care while driving operational excellence.
A Day in the Life ofAs the Clinical Support Manager RN, you begin your day partnering with providers, clinic leaders, and staff to ensure efficient clinic operations and exceptional patient experiences. You review staffing needs, monitor workflows, and provide support to teams across multiple clinic locations.
Throughout the day, you serve as a trusted clinical resource and leader, coaching staff, facilitating team huddles, and fostering an environment of collaboration and accountability. You play a key role in recruitment, onboarding, retention, and professional development initiatives while helping team members succeed in their roles.
You also lead educational programs, competency validation, and staff training efforts, ensuring clinical teams remain current on best practices, regulatory requirements, and organizational standards. Whether introducing new workflows, implementing clinical initiatives, or mentoring staff, your focus remains on supporting excellence in patient care.
As a quality and patient safety advocate, you analyze performance metrics, identify opportunities for improvement, and lead initiatives that enhance outcomes, patient satisfaction, and operational efficiency. Your leadership helps create a culture of continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
QualificationsEducationBachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) requiredMaster's degree in Nursing, Education, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Organizational Leadership, or related field preferredExperienceMinimum of 3-5 years of clinical nursing experience requiredPrevious leadership, supervisory, clinic management, quality improvement, or staff development experience preferredExperience in ambulatory care, physician clinics, or outpatient services preferredExperience with regulatory compliance, accreditation standards, and quality metrics preferredExperience utilizing electronic health records, reporting systems, and data analytics tools preferredLicensure & CertificationsCurrent Registered Nurse license in the State of Nebraska without restriction, or ability to obtain Nebraska licensure within required timeframesCompact state RN license accepted for eligible candidates residing outside NebraskaCurrent BLS certification requiredWhy Join Regional West?
