Overview As Clinical Director of Nursing for our senior living community you will utilize your leadership qualities to motivate, lead and oversee the operations of our clinical staff to provide a high level of quality care for our residents. The Clinical Director of Nursing also is responsible for the overall quality of care assessment, planning, documentation and provision of services to residents. You will proactively build relationships with residents, families, staff members, physicians and other healthcare providers for the coordination of exceptional one-on-one care. Responsibilities:

Ability to participate in facility on-call program which may include working at facility during off hours. Reliable transportation for on-call program required. Ability to verbally communicate well with residents, families, and staff members Ability to read and understand task assignments, ability to report verbally and provide written documentation as required. Display of genuine concern for the elderly; a dependable, patient and compassionate attitude towards residents. Demeanor always respectful of residents' rights and wishes. Ability to cooperate and maintain respectful treatment with others. Sense of responsibility, maturity, diplomacy, and ability to work well with residents, families, and other staff members. Demonstrated willingness to uphold the vision and mission of the company. Ability to perform assigned tasks based on Heathwood Core Values and to a high degree of excellence and cleanliness.

Experience and Skills:

Qualifications Credentials of a Registered Professional Nurse with a current State license required. At least two years of supervisory nursing experience and additional training and experience commensurate with the size of the facility and responsibilities of the position required. Geriatric nursing training or experience in structured living arrangements for seniors preferred. Possession of a baccalaureate degree in nursing or administration preferred.
