WEEKEND DOUBLES
6am-10pm w/ Baylor Pay. Baylor Pay is an amount equivalent to 8 hours of pay added to your check each week (MUST complete ALL charting AND be on time and stay your full shift in order to qualify) This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic nurse with strong clinical skills and a passion for leadership in a fast-paced, patient-centered setting. Pay is set at base, plus 10 cents an hour for every year you've been licensed. Please do not apply if pay is not acceptable for you. RN pay will be discussed during interview. Weekend DOUBLES 6am-10pm EVERY Saturday and Sunday Skilled and Long Term Care; must be able to do both Responsibilities Lead and supervise nursing staff during overnight hours, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to care plans. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and physiological evaluations to inform individualized care strategies. Administer medications, injections, IV infusions, and perform catheter care following strict protocols to ensure safety and compliance with HIPAA regulations. Coordinate emergency responses such as airway management, acute pain management, and ventilator support while collaborating with emergency medicine teams when necessary. Maintain accurate medical documentation using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Epic or Cerner; ensure compliance with
ICD-10/ICD-9
coding standards for billing and recordkeeping. Oversee infection control practices, sterile processing procedures, and aseptic techniques to prevent healthcare-associated infections. Support discharge planning, case management, and family communication to promote seamless transitions of care within post-acute or long-term settings. Requirements Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing; prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities preferred. Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience as a charge nurse or team leader in a healthcare environment. Proficiency with EMR/EHR system PCC preferred Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology, and medical terminology relevant to acute care, geriatrics, dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, hospice care, and behavioral health. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental delays; familiarity with long term care facilities is advantageous. Ability to handle complex clinical situations including ICU experience or Level I/II trauma center background is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills for effective triage assessments, patient education, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Basic life support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications such as IV insertion, phlebotomy, or wound suturing are beneficial. Join us in making a meaningful difference every night!
