Overview We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Emergency Room Nurse Manager to lead our emergency department. The ideal candidate will possess extensive clinical expertise in acute care settings and demonstrate exceptional leadership skills. This role involves overseeing daily operations, managing nursing staff, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards such as HIPAA, and maintaining the highest quality of patient care. Candidates with a strong background in critical care, emergency medicine, and hospital management are encouraged to apply Responsibilities Lead and supervise nursing staff within the emergency department, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and standards. Oversee patient assessment, triage, and management processes to deliver timely and effective emergency care. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for diagnostic evaluation, medical imaging, laboratory processing, and specialist consultations. Ensure accurate medical documentation Manage resource allocation including ventilator use, sterile processing, catheterization procedures, and infection control protocols. Maintain a safe environment by implementing infection control measures. Provide leadership in staff training on EMR/EHR systems to ensure efficient documentation of workflows. Support staff development through supervision experience and team management initiatives aimed at fostering a collaborative work environment. Skills Extensive clinical expertise in emergency medicine. Strong leadership capabilities with prior nurse management or supervising experience in acute care settings. Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, pharmacology related to medication administration—including injections—and medical documentation standards.

Requirements Clearances Education :

Graduate accredited nursing program RN required, BSN preferred

Certifications:

BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
