Responsibilities Provide hands-on nursing care to residents during night shift, including assessments, treatments, and medication administration Serve as charge nurse overseeing LVNs, CNAs, and support staff to ensure high-quality, person-centered care Monitor resident conditions, respond to changes, and communicate promptly with physicians and families Ensure accurate documentation of care, progress notes, and incident reports in accordance with regulations Support safe transitions of care, including admissions, discharges, and transfers on night shift Promote adherence to care plans, infection control, and safety policies across the unit Coach and mentor team members, fostering a culture of compassion, dignity, and servant leadership Participate in care conferences, shift huddles, and handoffs to ensure continuity of care Required Skills Medication administration Skilled nursing care Charge nurse leadership Long-term care nursing Rehabilitation nursing Electronic medical records (EMR) documentation Wound care Infection control Care planning IV therapy Vital signs and patient assessment Team supervision and delegation
