Full‑Time Position Overview A leading healthcare organization is seeking an experienced and motivated Nurse Manager to oversee its Emergency Department nursing team. This role carries 24‑hour accountability for departmental operations, ensuring clinical quality, patient experience, staff engagement, and overall performance. The Emergency Department includes 17 patient rooms and serves patients of all ages and acuity levels, with more than 13,000 visits annually. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage Emergency Department nursing staff and daily operations Ensure delivery of high‑quality, patient‑centered care and positive patient experiences Provide mentorship, education, coaching, and professional development for staff Collaborate with physicians, nursing leadership, and other hospital departments Monitor clinical quality, patient safety, and regulatory compliance Support quality improvement initiatives and evidence‑based nursing practices Manage departmental resources and promote fiscal responsibility Ensure compliance with CMS and applicable healthcare regulations Address staffing, performance, and operational concerns Foster teamwork, professionalism, communication, and continuous improvement Qualifications BSN or BS required; candidates currently enrolled in a BSN program may be considered MS/MSN preferred 3-5 years of current clinical nursing experience 1-2 years of nursing management experience Experience with quality improvement and fiscal management Current RN licensure required Strong leadership, communication, clinical judgment, and organizational skills Why This Role?
