Job Description

Category Therapy - Skilled - OT Job Type Contract Make an impact as a skilled Occupational Therapist by providing essential therapy services in a school-based contract role. Your expertise will support students' functional independence, helping them succeed academically and socially. Enjoy a structured weekday schedule from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, allowing for an optimal work-life balance.
Desired Skills & Experience:
Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist Background in occupational health and school-based therapy preferred Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and documentation Exceptional communication skills for collaboration with educators and families Ability to adapt interventions to meet diverse student needs Compassion, patience, and creativity
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate students and develop personalized treatment plans to address fine motor, sensory, and life skills challenges Deliver individual and group therapy sessions following established goals and school guidelines Provide ongoing progress updates and maintain accurate records Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and administrative staff to promote student growth Engage caregivers to support therapy carryover at home and in the classroom Contribute to multidisciplinary meetings and support IEP development
