Job Description
Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity working with elementary students, providing exceptional Occupational Therapy services in an engaging and supportive school environment near Greenwood, AR. You'll make a difference for a caseload of approximately 35 students, with responsibilities including direct OT services, detailed documentation, and participation in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings. Bring your expertise to a collaborative team and enjoy steady, meaningful work impacting students' lives from now through May 2027. This full-time position allows you to offer approximately 18 hours of direct services each week, with the remainder devoted to planning, documentation, and collaboration—striking a balance between hands-on therapy and professional growth.
Requirements and Desired Qualifications:
Valid Occupational Therapy license Experience providing OT services in educational settings (elementary preferred) Ability to manage a dynamic caseload and efficiently schedule direct/indirect service time Experience with documentation for compliance and participation in IEP meetings Strong interpersonal and communication skills to connect with students and educators Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver 30 minutes of direct OT services per week to each student on your caseload Maintain ongoing documentation in alignment with school and regulatory requirements Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student growth Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings and contribute to planning Adapt therapy techniques to meet the diverse needs of elementary-aged students across multiple school sites Extend your impact beyond the therapy room and help students achieve their best.
