Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in students' lives as a school-based Occupational Therapist in a contract position located near Angels Camp, CA. This role offers the opportunity to support children's growth and learning by delivering expert, caring intervention within an educational setting.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Active Occupational Therapist certification from the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) Bachelor's degree or higher from a regionally accredited college or university Previous school-based OT experience preferred, but enthusiastic new graduates are also encouraged to apply Strong communication and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments of students to identify challenges and abilities related to school participation Develop individualized treatment plans and student-centered goals in collaboration with educational teams and families Provide tailored occupational therapy interventions to support student engagement, independence, and academic success Document student progress, maintain required records, and participate in IEP meetings as needed Serve as a knowledgeable resource for teachers, staff, and parents regarding occupational needs and strategies Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and proactive learning environment This full-time, temporary position begins as soon as possible and is scheduled to continue through April or May of 2027, providing stability throughout the academic calendar.
